The Finish Line

Going your hardest and pushing through the finish line is the best part of any race. First of all, you're done. No more running. Second, you feel good because you look back at the track and think about all that you've accomplished. As the semester comes to a close, it's a great time to stand at the finish line and look back at the track, reflecting on wins and losses. I feel like I had a lot of wins this semester. I really got to know each one of my roommates and I've come to love and appreciate them. I also learned a lot about myself and that I can do hard things. Before coming, I worried that I would be way stressed with the school work and keeping up in class. I've found that if I focus and value the things that I'm learning, that I'm able to do well. I really enjoyed learning in an atmosphere where the spirit is present and I feel like I've learned so much more in this one semester than I ever did in high school. It was a great semester but I'm really excited to go home for Christmas break!
