Audience

We write to be read. Therefore, when we write we have an audience in mind. The better we desire to communicate, the better we must know our audience. In many aspects of communication, the ideal outcome is determined on the audience's perception. For example, in being interviewed for a job, the potential employee, the speaker, would dress in a way to please the employer, or the audience. This allows the best communication because both the speaker and the audience are on the same page.

I really like how you brought up our clothing as a part of communication. When we try to impress, we dress up. When we're sick (cough cough) we wear sweats and that's always hinting to people about ourselves. Well stated!

I liked this example of audience. it puts it in a different perspective. Audiences can be anyone, anywhere, and anytime!

I really like how you brought up the clothing thing too, because it's not just our words that communicate to others, but our appearance as well.

good example, just like your dress yourself up, you dress your paper up to be satisfying to an audience.
